Course Title: Level Three Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling

Duration:

• One day a week for 20 weeks

• full time 5 days a week ( Monday-Friday) for Four weeks

• One evening a week for 20 weeks

• Every Saturday for 20 weeks

What I will learn: This Programme is aimed at candidates who have completed the L1 in Tiling & L2 in Multi-Trade and Property Development who want to continue to progress their hand skills, gain a formal advanced accredited qualification and learn new parts of the tiling industry, preparing you for a career as a tiler.  

Units in this qualification include;

• Building methods and construction technology 

• Carry out safe working practices in construction

• Information, quantities and communicating with others 

• Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction

• Know how to produce internal and external sand and cement backgrounds

• Know how to produce tiles, mosaic and stone surface finishes

• Know how to provide drainage for tiled surfaces

• Knowledge of building methods and construction technology

• Knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with others 

• Prepare the background and tile out a wet room (Practical Synoptic Assignment)

• Produce internal and external sand and cement backgrounds

• Produce tiles, mosaic and stone surface finishes

• Provide drainage for tiled surfaces

 

Course Description:

During your studies at our state-of-the-art industry facilities you will receive hands on training in practical sessions covering all aspects of wall and floor tiling. You will work your way though formal accredited training with the guidance of our experienced trainers who will provide you with trade secrets and shortcuts to assist you in passing the practical exams for this qualification.

All courses at Salt Training Limited are offered flexibly with course start times starting at 09.30 to enable busy parents the time to complete the school run. 

 

Who is this course aim at?

This Programme is aimed at candidates who have completed the L1 Tiling & L2 Multi-Trade and Property Development Programmes and want to further their hand skills and gain an advanced accredited qualification to prepare you for a career in Tiling.

 

What will this Qualification Lead to? This Programme will lead to an NVQ L3 in Tiling and Gaining a GOLD CSCS Card.
